Key Features:

Text to Speech AI: The Text to Speech AI feature of our plugin transforms written text into spoken words, providing an auditory experience for your website’s content. It’s particularly beneficial for visually impaired users, those who prefer listening over reading, or users who are multitasking. With over 380 voices across 50+ languages and variants, including Mandarin, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and more, you can pick the voice that works best for your users and application. Our Text to Speech AI feature aims to deliver a more engaging and inclusive user experience.

Set up certificate

Enable Billing:

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Console (https://console.cloud.google.com/).
  2. Select your project.
  3. In the left sidebar, click “Billing”.
  4. Click “Link a billing account”.
  5. Select an existing billing account or create a new one.
  6. Click “Set account”.

Enable Text to Speech API:

  1. In the Navigation menu, hover over “APIs & Services”, then click on “Dashboard”.
  2. Click on “+ ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES” at the top of the page. This will take you to the API Library.
  3. In the API Library, use the search bar to search for “Text to Speech”. Click on “Cloud Text-to-Speech API” in the search results.
  4. On the Cloud Text-to-Speech API page, click on the “ENABLE” button.

Create a Service Account and Download the JSON Config:

  1. In the Google Cloud Console, go to the Service Accounts page (IAM & Admin > Service Accounts).
  2. Click “Create Service Account”.
  3. Enter a name and description for the service account, then click “Create”.
  4. Under “Grant this service account access to project”, select the “Text to Speech” role, then click “Continue”.
  5. Click “Done” to finish creating the service account.
  6. In the Service Accounts list, find the service account you just created, and click the three dots under “Actions”, then click “Manage keys”.
  7. Click “Add Key”, then “Create new key”.
  8. Select “JSON” as the key type, then click “Create”.
  9. A JSON key file will be downloaded to your computer. This file contains the config for your service account.

Install WpAI Assistant plugin

  • Download and install WpAI Assistant here
  • Active plugin and go to plugin settings WordPress Dashboard => Settings => WpAI Assistant menu
  • Open file JSON download from above step and paste to input certificates
